Which in-car system to get?

Hi,
I'm looking to get an in -car sat nav system.
I have a few requirements:

Cheap(ish) - up to £150
Needs to be switched between cars
Preferably NOT charged from the cigarette lighter

I'm not fussed about European maps, I only drive in the UK.

I was looking initially at a Navman F20, but most folks are telling me to go for a TomTom (I assume tomTom One for that price range), but one guy has suggested a Garmin, and someone else has said to look at a Myguide 3100.

So now I'm lost in the woods and needing a guiding light.

I got a Grundig Nav 100 from ebay and it has been fantastic, I was using Tomtoms before and my brother has the latest Garmin. in my honest opinion grundig nav 100 is much better than tomtom... i guess thats German engineering for you:)
it also comes with a double cd with all europe maps and shed loads of extras. i got it on an ebay auction for £157 but i was lucky because I have seen them being sold for 499 euros in Europe, thats something like 350 quid!!! so I am a happy man:))

Hi,

I recommend the navtek 885, brand new from Germay. This company has been doing navigation chip-sets for years (so i'm told) and now they have entered the market with this excellent little gps.

its got everything you could wish for in a sat nav and it is so tiny you can fit it in a side pocket of your trousers:)) i love this thing..
