im needing a newer map uk,but i dont want to download it,i thought you could have one posted aswell, but when i look on the website it only saying download

You can only get 675 maps by downloading.

my connection is not stable at the moment i could see something bad going wrong,but if thats the only way ill have to,as the maps on my go300 have never been updated,which i bought last june

Can you not use someone elses PC and burn them to disk to transfer to your PC??

Can't see any reason it wouldn't work or is the transfer direct to the device?

Is it that much of a worry? My maps are nearly 2 years old - i'm adopting an every other year upgrade policy....

yea if i can do it on someone elses pc that wouyld be ok,it does say it has to be done through tomtom that sounds like it might go straight to my tomtom,ill have to find out


i know i bought mine last year but the go came out in 2005 so its quite out of date

The maps are downloaded through TomTom HOME, so you will need to put the HOME program on the other computer.

I think you can only download thru TT home as this prevents illegal copies of maps appearing on the net. This forum does NOT condone the illegal copying of software. Please look here

Do we know when the next lot of maps are out? i dont want to get the maps then find out in a couple of months they have released another one
