hi i have just purchased a new navman mounting kit for the F20. i find it quite hard to get off of the screen. any ideas?

Is it a normal suction mount?

yes just a normal suction mount, but its the replacement for the F20's original and it seems to come with a larger suction cup. but i find it really difficult to get off, feel i'll end up breaking it if it keep trying to force it off. please help

Doesn't rubber part have a short lip sticking out from under the plastic cap? You just claw under that lip with your finger to allow air under the rubber and it comes off easy.

no unfortunately not, the original one did but like i say i bought another one from NAVMAN and this seems to have a much bigger suction cup and no 'lip' takes forever to get off.

any ideas?

I use a thin ID Card which is laminated. Any credit card will also work.
