Apologies if in wrong room.

Got tomtom5 on medion pda.Set all the camera warnings on tomtom and all favourite addresses.When i turn the pda of for the night and then back on the following day i have to repeat the above process of setting all the warnings again.Also dont show any recent destinations after ive turned the pda off

anyone know whats causing the problem.

Do you Exit from TomTom before switching off the PDA?

If so, then check the .CFG File in the Map Folder that it is not Read Only.

If it is then just change the File Properties.

Moved to a more appropriate place.

Always exit Tomtom before turning of the pda.

Just checked the file and the cfg.Right clicked on it and its showing as archive with a tick next to it.

At the bottom
Attributes, is Read-only box ticked?

The file is ticked with read only.

Untick the read only attribute and copy the file back to the PDA - this will allow settings to be stored by the software - Mike

Right in the map Great Britain got a mac,pna,cf3 and cfg folder.Been into the cfg and unticked the read only.Put memory card back into the pda as im using a card reader but still getting the same problem.

Everytime i go back into the cfg folder its ticked as archive.

Ive unticked the read only part now but still not saving the settings.
