Can I change the order of the items in the menu screens? as I would like traffic to appear on page 1 of the menu instead of page 3.

Only if you use a third party menu builder plug-in, I have no tested compatibility of any of these with Navcore 7.

Thanks Darren.

I found the next best thing is to add items to the Quick Menu.

Ok lets put it this way would I be right in thinking that if Tom Tom list some N series Nokia phones as compatible for the 720 on their site, the Nokia N 95 would work. Some one out there must have one.

I forgot to reply to your PM but not having an n95 to test I can't say if it will work. TomTom list phones that have been tested and passed. This does not mean that other phones won't work but obviously without having one to test I can't say either way.

Thanks Darren. I would think that the N95 would work as tom tom list a few of the series.
My dilemma is that I need to get my wife a phone tomorrow as stated in my PM but want to take advantage of the deal they offered me by taking out two contracts at the same time. Don’t think I’m man enough to take the chance though.

Hi there,

Still awaiting my unit, but I do have a question.

If I am playing music from my sd & using the fm transmitter setup, will the music cut out when the 720 gives me directions?

Thanks in advance.

Kevo

Very Happy

Apologies for asking this question again, didn't get a reply first time around. Does anyone know if the 720 still has the 100 POI limit?
Thanks Wink

Can you play music from the SD Card on th 720. Got mine yesterday. Can't seem to get it to play anything from the SD card. It doesn't show up on the music list?

Had the same problem. You need to create a folder called "mp3" in the root directory of the SD card and then put your music in there.

This worked for me using an Inov8 2GB SD

Thanks for the replies. Still no joy with the SD card & music, I have tried formatting as suggested, also placed music in mp3 folder as suggested. Tried two different cards, a 512 & 256mb. no joy. Will have to contact TT support I think, as it appaers to be acomm problem.

On the 910 the device code is shown by tapping on the version number but the 720 maybe different or you might not be looking for the device code

Product code cards are not issued with these units. The future activation process uses electronic certificates via HOME.
