Location on map..

Hi, I have just started using TomTom/GPS so am still learning, but the problem I am having is that TomTom always seems to be 50 yards or so behind me on the map, so as I drive past a side street it says that I am just approaching it, and also roundabouts are a nightmare, I am just leaving as it says I am approaching.
I have checked through other postings and found these, but they don't really answer my question.

Does anybody know why it is doing this, I am using a Jornada 525 and a haicom 204e.

Sorry if I have missed something obvious!, any help is greatly appreciated.

Slow down - interesting idea

Unfortuantly I don't know anybody else with a PDA who would be happy to let me mess around with it.

Is it possable that POI's could cause it?, I will remove them today and see if that make's any difference.

I have tried various drivers for the GPS in TomTom.

It is just so frustrating!!!
