poi s i cant find em

ive just gone from an i3 to a nuvi 310 and have finally manage dto download some pois to the nuvi into the file named poi in the garmion folder.
now when i search for the pois it not finding them?
can anyone plrease shed any light?

Welcome to the forum, to put POI files on the Nuvi you need to use POILoader.
first unzip your download containing the POI files, put all the POI files in the same folder on the PC.
Next connect the Nuvi to the PC and start POILoader, let POILoader find the Garmin Nuvi.
Point the POILoader application at the folder containing the POI files and follow the onscreen prompts to finish the installtion to the Nuvi.
The above should be the same as when you installed POI files to the i3. Mike

thankyou for the reply and i have got the poi loader installed and when trying to move pois to nuvi the poi loader says "there are no data files in that directory please specify a directory that contains at least one file with a .csv or .gpx extension"

anyone any ideas

Sorry Mike i have just realised it is on the Garmin site. Embarassed

And copied my new POIs to my 310d with no problem. :D 8)

aha having some success at last managed to get some poi s on but when i choose certain categories it comes up with files ive allready downloaded and not the ones i chose................. 8O
