303MMF and BT slipper - US purchase for UK use

Given the excellent exchange rate and the fact that I'm off to the USA I may buy the combo above while I'm in the US. :D

Do current users use the charger much (as I'm sure it will be US voltage)?

I figure that it will be used in the car anyway...I suppose I could buy the 303MMF in the US and the slipper in the UK.

Are there any other pitfalls that I might be missing? All opinions welcome!

The 303mmf and the 401bt slipper I bought last week came with a multi-voltage charger (100 - 240V I think) and replaceable plugs.

I don't think you'll have any problem powerwise.

You could always ask to look in the box before you buy.

Yes the HAICOM bluetooth slipper comes with a dual voltage charger and different plugs for worldwide use. Also comes with a car charger, magnetic suction thing that sticks to the windscreen.

I got one from www.buygpsnow.com who ship to the UK. You will probably get collard for about £25 by customs.

Make sure that if you do get the 303mmf with slipper that you get the person you are buying from or getting shipped by check that they work together as there are models of the 303MMF that WONT work with the slipper.

all for 203 pounds shipped and vat and duty was another 28 pounds

it didnt come with an AC charger (just a car charger!) so I trying to get one, but I have also orders a car charger converter for UK so it will turn the car charger into an AC (only cost a tenner)

This would cost approx 300 pounds in the UK, exchange is good now
