I need help

I have got a garmin 76sgpsmap and want to connect to my Mio p550.

Is it possible to do???

Hi,

If you're looking for a connecting cable, I think the answer is "no".

I believe the P550 does not have a serial interface, but only a USB connector (mini B type). However, neither device (GPS or PDA) is a USB Host, so it is not possible to connect them together via USB.

As the Mio has BlueTooth, the only slight possibility is if you can get a serial-BT adapter for the GPS. The one that PC-Mobile sells is only able to link NMEA (gps position) data at 4800 baud into the PDA. But if you want to transfer routes and tracks, etc., you need bi-directional at 9600 baud. I did hear of such a device available in the USA (at ~$100) but have never seen any details.
