Hi,
I have managed to get Tomtom Navigator and Memory Map to coexist on my ipaq 5500 with no problems. I can run them both seperately. For example I can run Tomtom and get a gps fix. If I then close it and run memory map I get a gps fix
What I would like to know, is it possible to run both Tomtom navigator and Memory Map at the same time?
The reason I ask is that it is sometimes usefull to quickly switch between a street map view and an os view. (i don't like memory map's street map)
I suspect that whichever app is run first locks the bluetooth so that nothing else can use it |

If you use a CF card GPS receiver and a BT receiver you can actually run the two programs at the same time. All you would need would be a CF jacket for the iPAQ... _________________ Lutz

In answer to your original question, no, it's not possible for more than one application to access the GPS data stream provided by the one receiver. As Lutz has said though, if you had another GPS connected then you could configure one app to access the BT GPS receiver and another to access a CF or Mouse GPS etc. _________________ Darren Griffin |
