I'm running Navigon Mobile Navigator 5.2 on my Medion PNA200S using a map of the west coast of the USA.

Everything seems to work fine except the actual travel routing. It looks like it's doing all the calculations but then when it's finished it says the total journey is just 300 yards. Looking at the map all it's done is linked the start and end points by a straight line ie avoiding all the actual roads. Now my navigation skills aren't great but even I could have done that without a gadget!

Does anyone have any idea what's going wrong? I've tried resetting the device and reinstalling everything but it still does the same thing.

I have a 7000T here and initially it draws a straight line from start to end then draws the actual route.

What about when you go into route planning and set a start and end destination?

If I do that and click calculate, it goes away and calculates but then comes back and tells me the total distance is 300 yards. If I then go to the map I have a straight line between the two points.

Clicking on simulate - the simulated journey follows that straight line avoiding all the roads as if they weren't there. One time I did manage to get it to simulate following the roads but then it didn't give any directions and just kept saying "in three hundred yards you will have reached your destination" every three hundred yards.....

I haven't tried it with an actual GPS signal yet.
