Could anyone tell me what the latest postcode version is for GB, I have V504 on my 910 and Nederlands V610.
Does the Latest V660 Maps come with a newer version ?
The TomTom Postcode file available via TomTom for Download has no Version info so not sure if it's the latest or been on there servers for a while? |

You can tell the version in TomTom Home by just hovering the mouse over the postcode files in explorer.
Version Number for New 660 maps please. |

Not sure about Version Numbers... I can look at that when I get home...
I have just updated my Map to v660 and one thing I noticed was that the UK Postcode file is about 1.5mb smaller than what i had on there.... very strange!!!
Anyone else noticed this??

Looks like maybe we've got another of those "different version NUMBERS for different models" ...
My GO710 (purchased 1 Dec 06), App 6.522, Map 650.1047.
Postcodes GB v504, 9.4MB, NL v601, 1.9MB.
My GO700, App 6.520, Map 660.1219 (28th Nov 06).
Postcodes GB v603, 8.9MB, NL v604, 1.9MB.
If I remember correctly when I downloaded the new map (for GO700) it also came with postcode files and they installed when I installed the map.

Not sure how much smaller, but certainly apparently smaller. But NL postcode size unchanged (and same size as on 710).
But KT13 0YX still doesn't take me to Vickers Drive South. GRRR!!! (embarrassing doing a delivery on behalf of TNT to their depot in Vickers Drive South and being directed to Avro Way).
