Tom Tom Go 710 navigate to poi

Help - have just converted from an ipaq4700 running TT navigator 5 to a new Go 710 - mainly for the handsfree phone stuff.
In navigator its possible to navigate to a poi but on the 710 it only lets you go to poi's near your route etc which is a pain if you want to plan a route to a poi. Have used navigator for some years now so am I missing something?
Also can't find any other mounts as I want to install on my brobit holder rather than use the windscreen mount. Anyone know where I can get one?

Haven't got my unit in front of me so I can't be exact here...
I know what you mean, I'm still getting used to not having a simple list of the entries (it was there in version 5 software on the Go's too).
However, there are the options to navigate to POI near home, POI in a town or city, POI on route and POI near destination. All of those should show the 100 entries closest to the place you've selected.

If that isn't what you need, you can also "Browse map" and tap the map to position the round blue cursor where you are interested in. Then, the cursor button at the bottom gives you a "Find nearby POI" to that point too (which you can then navigate to).
