Hi all, just a quick one.

I've just upgraded from a Moto V3 to a Samsung D900 and I've lost the ability for SMS messages to come up on the GO screen.

With the V3 SMS alerts would come up and I could read the text, I couldn't reply as writing messages wasn't supported.

Now I've got the D900, hands free is working perfectly, and the GO actually lets me type a message but says the phone doesn't respond when it tried to send it.

When an SMS message arrives, the tomtom does nothing and since it doesn't recognise the message you can't read it.

Any ideas? If i look on the phone at what services the GO is using it just says "Hands Free" and "Data Connection" the latter being for the GPRS / Tomtom Plus stuff (which works fine by the way)

Help! :D if the phone doesn't support this feature it's not the end of the world.

thanks!

Rob

Heheh sorry to hear you didn't have much luck with it!

Thankfully I'm able to sync the phonebook, just the sms issue, but I'll get buy, hoping for a future update (not holding my breath)

i have a nuvi360 and have the same 'issue'. i.e. all phonebook and calling is fine but it doesn't support the sms stuff. i put this down to the phone rather than the satnav especially if the tomtom does the same!

I'm happy that TomTom say it's not a supported feature... well MORE happy than I would be if it said it SHOULD work but didn't 8)
