How many POI categories can you have in TTN 5.21

I seem to remember that you can only display 39 ? But can you actually have more categories stored in your map folder ?

The reason I ask is that I've just downloaded some of the new POI's (as per the home page), and when I check my CF card via the card reader, all of the POI categories are there, inside the map folder.

But when I reinsert the card in my PPC and go to Manage POI's/Enable or Disable, not all of the POI categories are shown in the list. Can you only store a limited number of categores ?

If so, is there any workaround for this ?

It is 39, and if you go over this limit the device will offer what it wants out of those installed upto a limit of 39 - very unpredictable behaviour.
As a work around you could create a POI folder on the memory card place all your POI files into it (as many as you like) then copy/ paste the ones you need infrequently in to your map folder when required, use them and remove them later - Mike
