tomtom home is some software that tomtom made fairly recently. it 'simplifies' software installation for your tomtom.
having said that, it's dead easy to install the ov2 version as well. have a read through the guides - both are easy!
if you're unsure about going through the folders on your tomtom then you might prefer using the 'home' version. just make sure you extract the downloaded files (.toc and .cab) into the tomtom home directory: my documents/tomtom/home/downloads - you can then install them through 'home'

Had to use a 512 card as I also downloaded the new maps from Tom Tom they don't tell you that when you commit to buy. Beware |

If you order a map download, a broadband internet connection is required. Installation requires you to use TomTom HOME on your computer. Click here for more information on TomTom HOME.
Also, make sure your memory card (SD card) has enough space. (Required memory card size.) |

Ignore Andy, Matthew - he's a Luddite (actually a polite Luddite as he uses Polite 2, but he still burns RTFMs). _________________ Dennis
