|
|
Hi all, merry xmas
I have just downloaded for my TT Go 300, the latest TT OV2 speed zoned update. On replacing my existing files i have noticed that the date of creation was 10 September 2006, 19:38:23. Is the date of creation wrong or have i been directed to download an old file. I have replaced my existing files before noticing this so it looks like my cameras are now 3 months out of date. Any input would be appreciated. Bill............. |

I have just re-tried downloading the speed cameras for TomTom using the ov2 method and Home method, both of these produce the correct dated files. Can you please confirm you were logged into the www.pocketgpsworld.com site? when you downloaded the camera files. If so I would suggest you try a second download of the database - Mike |

Hi Mike. Must appologies, i am not sure what happened. I tried the download 3 times and each time it gave the same Sept date for creation. Have just done the download again and it is the correct Dec date. Not sure what happened but its sorted now.
Thanks for your time given that it is the christmas holidays. Have a good one, cheers Bill..... |

I've noticed this sometimes too. This month when I went to overwrite the previous one, Windows said the usual "Do you want to replace blah, blah, with the same name, blah blah" but the date it gave for the previous one (two weeks old) was something totally wrong. I haven't worked out if it is something in the d.base or just something obscure that Windows does (create date / modify date/ save date etc.)
What I always do anyway is copy the "release.txt" file from the camera files download bundle across to my TT as well. That is a text file with the version number and release date in it. |
