Are they asking for the serial number of the GO or the mount?
Or are they asking for the Device Number? _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

The serial number should be on the underside of the device (mine is blank, and has been from day one) - the serial number I use is printed on the underside of the box the device was supplied in "V12345A12345" as an example - Mike |

HI.
this is what i am trying to do
https://www.tomtom.com/newdock/
the format i am using is of the V02345A12345 format (example) , its the number on the underside of the TomTom510 and for the life of me i cant work out what i am doing wrong.
Tried 0 as O and tried the letters as capitals , but still all i get is invalid format? |

I got my GO 710 and put in my serial number no problem and a few days later ups deliver me a version 2 mount, exactly the same as the one i got with my GO710 so now i have 2 version 2 mounts, so my point is why do they ask for the serial number because it has no relevance to which version you have.Think they are just sending them to anyone who contacts them.

I got sent a replacement mount. I think you are right - anyone who contacts them will probably be sent one. I haven't supplied any serial number or anything. |
