Yep just put them in the map folder on the TomTom SD card - that all you have to do.
TomTom Home software will only recognise a .ov2 file when it is installed onto the TomTom. As you say the Home software will allow you to delete them from the unit. However for the Home software will only see toc/cab files on the pc.
Some poi's are supplied as cab/toc and Home can be used to install them. Others however are supplied as ov2 files. these are simply copied directly to the map folder on the SD card. |

This is the place to put your CAB and TOC Files, and is where HOME will look.;) _________________ Richard

Hi Oldboy,
I've just had a look to see what mine is set to. Sure enough the 'Extra Content' points to \my documents\tomtom\HOME\content
However that folder does not exist. Strange it wasn't created during the install. |

However I changed it at the first to the Folder that I use for all things TomTom! You can create the Folder manually, or do as I did.;) _________________ Richard
