TT6 - greyed out 'Call number' icon

What does the Call Number icon do in TT6 (6.010), and why is mine greyed out, Is it for making phonecalls via a bluetooth phone as in TomTom Rider? How is the icon activated ?

It calls the number listed in the POI, typically. It's only active if your PDA actually has inbuilt phone capabilities, however.

I can use this icon no problem on the Artemis. Selecting the icon gives me a further selection of Call the following:

POI Near you
POI in City
POI Near Home
POI Along route
POI Near Destination

When one of the above optons are selected you simply then select the POI Category you want to call and the device will return the nearest 100 POI's with phone numbers. The first in the list will be nearest to the selection you made.
Tap the individual POI and the number plus the POI Name is displayed, you can now select Cancel to abort back to the navigation display or Dial to make the call - Mike
