Why is TomTom Navigator 6 so slow on my SPV M2000?

Hi,

I thought i would ask you guys rather than tomtom themselves, becuase a) you will hopefully reply to me uicker than they will and b) the people on this forum seem to know 100% more about tomtom than tomtom themselves.


I have put TT Navi 6 onto my Orange SPV M2000, and it is tediously slow. It works, it works fine, but it is just sooo slow!! I mean if i go to the menu and press next it will take like 60 seconds to go to the next set of options.... its rediculous!!

I have just put my old tomtom 5 onto it and thats ok in the menus, but the GPS is really slow at updating the positions. It was fine on the old Ipaq though.... but i will start a dfi thread for this as it is a different topic.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?.
Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
