Nuvi 310 Deluxe and POI displays

Hi,

I have a Nuvi 310 Deluxe and I couldn't find the answer to the following question on the forum:

- I loaded (using POI Loader) several POIs (in 1 go, all together). These POIs were speed cameras and shops (such as Tesco, Sainsbury, etc ...)
When I drive past a speed camera at high speed, I get the warning + the little camera icon on my nuvi screen. But when I drive past a Tesco/Sainsbury/etc.. , I DO NOT see anything on the screen. I set the alarm on for both customs POI and speed cameras.

If I do a POI search using the menus, all my Tescos/Sainsburys/etc .. can be found and I can create a route to them.

Now the "funny" thing. If I set these Tesco/Sainsburys/etc.. as favourite locations, they DO display on map !! huh ?

Anyone else has this problem ?

That all sounds like it's working correctly to me - if you want alerts for the non speed cameras you will need to use POI Loader in manual mode and setup each alert individually (I think, I've never done that).

Well , it sort of worked. On my way to work, I drove past something like 30 custom POIs, but the nuvi 310D only managed to get an alert for 1 tesco (with icon on map) and 1 Holiday Inn (without icon on map).

I set the alert to every POIs within 1000 meters (0.6 miles) so I should have had many more ....

Anyone else had that problem ?
