So does the new Tomtom x10 mount fix all the problems with the old one?
1. Disconnections (so you don't need the software update) - plus disconnections of other things such as TMC plugged into the mount.
2. Drooping.
3. any other problems. |

Mine still falls off if the sun heats the windscreen... other than that it's OK. |

Just recieved a new mount. TT seems to sit better but it still droops , infact worse than the original! I read somewhere that a forum user had taken his apart and stretched the spring. I am looking at the mount now but can figure out how to take it apart, any suggestions?? |

Go to this link and skip to the 5th step fo the instructions. You don't need to do steps 1 - 4. |

Hi TonyHoyle
Try this, Make sure to wipe the screen and mount base, any dirt, grease, tiny fluff or hair will let air into the glass contact area. Also push the mount onto the glass to remove most of the air and then lock on. Any air trapped heats up and e x p a n d s when hot pushing the mount off the screen. |
