Can't unplug GTM12 from Nuvi310

I've just bought a GTM12 traffic module for my Nuvi 310 and it works fine.

Trouble is, I can't unplug it from the mini USB socket on the side of the Nuvi.

Is there a trick to this or do I have a problem?

Just pulls out no force needed.

In this case some quite considerable force was needed. I don't know why.

I had just the same problem to start with and needed a screwdriver to lever the plug out of the side of the Nuvi310. Now its OK and can be pulled out easily. Can't see any reason for it.
