TOMTOM GO 710 CONNECTION PROBLEMS

Hi all.

Recently bought the TTG 710. Went on holiday to Cornwall and it seemed fine until around Bristol and it died. After various checks and test i found it to be a bad connection between the windscreen adapter and the TTG 710.

Problems encountered:

Charging was very itermittent (had to keep waggling the TTG 710)
Memory loss (would not remember the time)
Poor sound quality from phone calls using hands free (Waggled unit and was fine)

Has any one else had this problem?

Certainly doen't seem as strong a connection as the old TTG 300.
I eventually sent the until back and awaiting a replacement.
