Hi guys anyone know how to get the route66 icon on the today screen of my o2 xdaiis its in the start bar menu but all i want to do is tap the icon not going through the start bar 8O ! thx

Only certain Navigation programs put a desk top short cut on the screen, Route 66 doesn't do this.
If you install "Omega One Battery Pack Pro" you can then pull a few icons onto the today screen, these work to start up your application.

Not sure if this is possible on the 02 xda but I had a similar problem with my Tmobile MDA and found a very quick and easy solution.

Using the inbuilt voicedial feature I can select applications. I Simply recorded a phrase i.e. Sat Nav and associated it to Route66. Then its just a case of speaking sat nav into my bluetooth headset and it launches.

Its a very useful feature for any other applications you may wish to access whilst driving too
