My brand new tt 510 received yesterday having waited a week from the Dixon’s web site for a good price of £299. However when I tried to set it up via the pc I place it in the docking station and a red cross flashes and a blue symbol at the bottom flashes. When I removed it from the dock it froze so I called tt help desk and was told it was a software problem and to take it back. Great I thought a further week to wait again Crying or Very sad I suggested that I set the reset button he said it would not work. I did set the button and it set up all ok and works good in the car however part from the docking to pc a red flashing X and will not find the tt. Any help would be great. As Dixons dont have any shops anymore and there part of the PC world/Currys team I shall pop it in to them. Really wanted to know if this was a common thing as a few weeks ago I tried the PC/Currys and they had none in stock apart from faulty ones so I am wondering.
Soz for the long post. Tracey

Did you set up TT home first ?
the red cross means do not remove from dock as it is transmiting data

Dam spoke to soon the red x stops then on my comp a window message pops up saying: "This device can perform faster if you connect to a hi speed usb 2.0 port, there is a list click here" Now this usally pops up if I add another usb item as like a skpe phone/printer but works ok. As I am using a 4 port connection. So I unpluged my high speed modem and tried via this port and it still says the same message. The tt just shows a pic of a tt with a light green background. Time for my hair to be ripped out is this a blonde thing what am I doing wrong?
