TomTom RIDER – Bluetooth Headset Alternatives?

Is it possible to use the TTR with other Bluetooth headsets, for instance to use an existing Bluetooth headset while in the car and use the provided headset whilst on the bike?

Are the Handsfree solutions with built in speaker a good option and compatible?

Myself and Tim Buxton have both managed to get our RIDERS working with a Bluetooth Hansdfree speaker system we bought from Lidl a while back so it is possible to do but your mileage may vary as their is no defacto compatability list.
