Charging the C510 for first time

Hi guys

Ive eventually bought one of these & got it today, looks nice mind you. Do you really need to charge it up for 8hrs before using it, i wanna use it now, im like a big kid

Hi, when I got mine it was pretty much charged up, I connected it to the pc for a couple of hours and had a bit of a playaround at the same time.

The more I have used it the more I like it, took me a while to get used to the set up. The tracking is brilliant and I like the bit where it goes around the roundabout with you, with the nuvi it just cuts across.
I am going to use it tommorrow in work to find some places out in the wilds of caernarfonshire so we will see how we get on.

I will be a lot happier though when we can put some decent speedcams on it and poi`s.
