I think you are back to Destinator 6, runs well on my iPaq 2210.

TT6 for PDA has now reached RC-status (Release Candidate) according to the administrator at the largest TomTom-forum in the Nordic region (over 22.000 members).

However he is not prepared to, or more probably not entitled to, put a release date on it.

I think it would be very short sited if TomTom drop PPC support, I certainly don't want one of those bricks on my windscreen just so that thieving pikey can have it away. My PPC pops into my pocket with my mobile phone easily when I leave the car.

I have my PPC for work and it's invaluable, satnav on it is a bonus, and I certainly will show no loyalty to TomTom if they drop it. Shame as I don't think you can beat the TomTom software after trying an early version of destinator (it was woefull) and I also am starting to get used to Traffic too.

Hope its just scaremongering .......

I think they would be making a seriously bad business decision if they did. While some may go out and buy one of TomToms dedicated solutions, I think a significant number would either chose not to upgrade until their PDA wore out, or move to a competitor.

There are many users who will not buy a dedicated unit, simply because they refuse to be tied into one companies product, and upgrade/transfer policy, even though out of preference, they would use it.

Just received the TomTom news letter, no mention of any application or map updates. So how long until the next news letter is sent?

Not sure how significant it is (and I don't check daily!) but there appears to be no pricing or purchase options for Nav 5 on the TT website anymore. Is this a new development, indicating an impending Nav 6?

If I just got one of those I'd be impressed - not had a newletter in months, and certainly not this year.
