Emtac Trine and inconsistent fixes...

Lately I've not been able to connect reliably to my Trine GPS receiver.

It's BT, and I have power and an antenna wired to it, semi-permanently installed in my vehicle. I'm using an iPAQ hx4700 to connect, and have tested with Mapopolis and Crux_View.

Basically, once BT is initiated, I'll see six or seven sats and have a 3D fix. If I disconnect and reconnect without moving locations, I may only see one sat., and thus no fix.

I can't seem to figure out a reset order to make things work, either. Cycling power on the BT receiver or resetting my iPAQ has no affect.

Is it time for a new receiver?
