Just a quick question.
Will any SD Card work in a TomTom One.
I have just seen 512mb one on Amazon for £4.39.
That seems cheap. is it? and would it work?
Thanks |

There have been various threads on this; basically, if a card has a very slow read speed, you may notice the difference with navigation (turn warnings too late, poor update of position). Tomtom recommended a 'high-speed' card when I quizzed them, effectively saying the system could benefit from eg a 133x card.
Additionally, cheap cards may be unreliable - cards have certainly been known to fail!
Hope that helps; if you only buy it once, there are good-quality 1Gb cards for about £20 eg try 7day shop, Picstop etc _________________ TT GO app on Android Phone

Have a look here http://www.choicestationery.com/acatalog/Secured_Digital.html at the Kingston 1GB SD Ultimate x133 (read/write speed 20x, compared to the standard cards 4x). for £31.62.
