I have downloaded the alertegps ones. Mine are dated 23rd April, so I assume that was their last update. Have you downloaded both sets and compared ov2 file sizes or properties ?

| Yes i have d/l both sets, it would appear that the alertgps ones are larger ov2 files and mine are dated 1/5/96, i assume then they must be the most up to date verions. Does anyone know what the RFP camera type is? |

RFP means "radars fixes en prévision", which means forecasted fixed radar sites, or intended sites.

I have looked at two camera databases for France
Alertegps.com has 946 RF, and 2141 RM
GPS Passion has 710 RF and 1999 RM
Seems GPS Passion are behind on their data. Anyone know of sites with more on the database, comments on accuracy or comments on the above? |

GPSPassion has two versions "Standard" & "Plus". The standard is free, whereas the "Plus" version is avaialble only to subscribers. Needless to say the Plus version has many more cameras:
Standard
Latest version = 36
Dated 21/5/06
Fixed cameras 711
Mobile camera sites 2,000
PLUS
Lates version 38
Dated 2/7/06
Fixed - 773
Mobile sites 10,880 |

| If my French is correct, the Standard version is limited to the 1st 2000 mobile camera sites, hence the massive difference. |
