Got this set up from a work mate who got a navman. It has just been repaired under warranty and had a new motherboard fitted. The problem is that the pda knows the expansion slot is being used but the viamichelin memory card does not show up when trying to store programs or run maps.I have also put the card into a reader to try and format it(as i read on another thread)but again nothing shows. This package was bought from dixons in september last year so still under warranty. My plan was to buy another card possibly 256mb so i can download the speed camera database and hopefully get dixons/currys to replace the faulty card. Does anybody know if they will change the card or will they want to send away the pda and card to their repair centre.any advice on the above comments welcomed.thanks

No one else has jumped in with any helpful advice, so I'll say the obvious thing : if you want to know what Dixon's will do about your warranty claim, why not ask them ?

From your description of the problem, the card is faulty (not working in either your PDA or a card reader suggests its the card itself which is at fault), but if you intend to buy a new and bigger one anyway, does it matter very much how long it may take to replace it ?
