How'd I do the old method.

I searched but only found people referring to it as opposed to actually descriping it!

Rename both files to something other than 'Safety Camera', e.g. 'Camera' and repeat the process without deleting any files.

You'll then have an extra file under custom (which you don't need to select) and should have the icons back.

little rock here is the article for copiolt 5 as far as im aware the process is the same for cp6 when importing POI's via the desk top software

If using old style set POI alerts to Enabled, tick the section for Safety cameras under Transportation. Just to be safe set Report: Near route

Old style means using the desktop app to import POIs.

Instructions for old style method here. But just copy across the ao* files using Activesync.
