Any USA source for this for the Yanks? I don't mind ordering things out of country on the internet, it's just that I'm going on a long trip in less than two weeks and I doubt it would get here in time coming from the UK to the USA.

This one seems to be a lot better and more professional/custom looking than the generic nylon ones that are on USA eBay.

Interpilot: I believe that the Drumma is only available via shipping from the UK. Mine arrived (to Canada) in a week, but I was zinged $10 more for customs duties.

I also have the Glarestomper and it is also very good. I use it when I go travelling as it folds up while on the TTG providing protection and is very compact. The Drumma is bulky in that it is rigid.

Both are excellent products.

Geez, it's almost like TomTom is a European product! Wait...oh, yeah...it is! :D

Thank you -- that's what I suspected about UK source only. Also, thanks for the feedback on the Glarestomper product. I think the Drumma is a better looking product because of its custom design, but you do have an excellent point that the Glarestomper is collapsable for more portability. I think I'd like the look of the Drumma better though.

Thanks again!

Own both and the Glarestomper is very fiddly to fit but once installed does the job well and is of course foldable.

The Drumma slides on and of in an instant (but stays in place in use) also performs well.

My personal chioce is the Drumma, placed in glove box when not in use. In use it can be slid in very quickly. Usually stick mount on the screen, mount TT and switch on then slide on the Drumma (this takes so little time its in place before the TT has a sat lock). Also looks better in my humble opinion.

I made a visor from a black plastic VHS video slip case, very easy to do and folds flat and cost nothing.....

Best regards David

I'm not seeing a hard visor anywhere on the glarestomper site -- I think they're only the soft, flexible type. Thanks for pointing out that they have a California source, too. I'm still liking the Drumma better, of course, because that's the one that's an ocean away. ;)
