I am thinking of getting a 910 as I do a lot of trans-european trips.

One thing I do wonder is how "loud" can the volume go for the directions?

Top down with my current (and sadly recently departed Sad ) Ipaq with Navman I had to buy a Seidomount with built in speaker in order to hear the directions.

Has anyone tried the 910 in a (fairly loud) convertible (preferably at xyz speeds on the Autobahn 8O )

Is it loud enough?

Thanks!

I use a 910 with a corvette, but I route the audio through the car's system. I think you may have to strain your ears to hear the 910 on it's own.

It's ok below approx. 30 mph but above this isn't really that good, but then again the vette is LOUD Laughing

That's what I'm afraid of Sad

Linking in to the Becker-OEM system is not easy either... :x

Looks like a re-think needed

Another problem is the construction of the 910 - the speaker points down, and loses the option of a reflecting surface. The old GO's could use the windscreen as a good reflector.
