Anyone know how we can go about tidying up this forum? It is annoying that I have two scroll down a couple of pages worth past largely irrelevent "sticky's" that have have not been updated for over a year and that refer to issues in an old version of the software. |

Perhaps an archive would be appropriate. |

Can't find that option - perhaps I'm looking right past it, but it is not jumping off the page at me.
And it's not what I want anyway. I actually want to see "current" stuff, irrespective of whether it is new since I last read it.
Out of the 15 sticky announcments, 8 are explicitely about CP5 (even the FAQ), and have not been modified for ages. So even just archiving these off would reduce the noise. A further one or two look out of date (CFG file backup for example).
I just think it needs a spring clean so that the *default* view looks sensible.
If nothing else, remove the stickiness of the out of date topics - then they will naturally bubble off the end. |

When you first start the Forum page, look over to the right, near the top, and you'll see View unanswered posts.
When you subscribe and become a member you get two extra choices....

Thanks for the tip, but it's actually worse. Pretty much all I'm interested in the the CP6 forum - the options you mention show me all the posts in *all* the forums.
So back to my original question - how can we tidy up the forum? |

You could Search CoPilot.
If you became a member you would have the added advantage of the new posts being marked.
It's probably why members don't appear too fussed about the 'stickies'. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

I'm a member, and I am fussed about information and stickies which remain well past their use by date - for example CoPilot 5 pricing. |

I am a member, and yes I see the extra icons. It is still not what I am looking for.
I can't beleive it is this hard - all I am suggesting is a bit of housecleaning.
Sheesh! |
