Hi
I have only had my tomtom setup for a couple of weeks and yesterday was the first time i used it almost continously all day.
After several hours of intermittant use whilst driving from place to place in Norwich I found the GPS seemed to give up on me!
I thought it had completely packed up but after leaving the pda off for half an hour it seems to be working again!

is this usual ? does it overheat or something? it's not going to be much use on a long journey is it?

thanks
Mike

Heat should not be a problem - at least not now. You may want to check your cabling, maybe something got loose during the trip

If it's CF then there is a slight chance of overheating. But then this would also affect other cf cards... What is your subjective impression of the CF card temperature after a few hours use?
