Hi I have a Tomtom 700 which works fine, however if I have not used it for a day or so it takes between 3-5 mins to find its location, even staring off from home.
When I check the staus it is seeing the sats but not fixing the location
Do I need to set my location somehow?
I have set my home lcation
Any advice would be helpful

| Not sure about TT but with my Garmin i3 you get the same thing if you don't leave batteries in it. With batteries the SatNav can do a Warm Start which can take a few seconds. However from a Cold Start it can take a few minutes. |

The TT700 I just bought my wife works very quickly. Do you have a heat reflecting windscreen? If so may need an external area, or more patience :D

I also have a 700. A lock always takes longer if you haven't used it for a while. If you haven't already done so, upgrade your firmware to the latest version. Mine locks much more quickly since I upgraded mine.
