Hi I have a Tomtom 700 which works fine, however if I have not used it for a day or so it takes between 3-5 mins to find its location, even staring off from home.
When I check the staus it is seeing the sats but not fixing the location
Do I need to set my location somehow?
I have set my home lcation
Any advice would be helpful
Regards

Not sure about TT but with my Garmin i3 you get the same thing if you don't leave batteries in it. With batteries the SatNav can do a Warm Start which can take a few seconds. However from a Cold Start it can take a few minutes. |

The TT700 I just bought my wife works very quickly. Do you have a heat reflecting windscreen? If so may need an external area, or more patience :D _________________ Peter

Tony in Enfield | I also have a 700. A lock always takes longer if you haven't used it for a while. If you haven't already done so, upgrade your firmware to the latest version. Mine locks much more quickly since I upgraded mine.
