Hi all. I just changed from the i3 to a c310 and have been very happy but 1 thing i noticed is it has v7 maps when my i3 had v8. Can I upgrade the maps or am I going to have to fork out more cash? If so why have i just paid more for an out of date unit?

Contact Garmin via their UK website.. They are likely to give you a free V8 upgrade. This has been the case with other garmin devices (i3, Quest, etc) purchased since January.
