I've just had a mount made for me by a guy called Andy.

He made it to my own specification, but he also does loads of pre-designed versions as well.

If anyone is interested, his email is: ap006r6115@blueyonder.co.uk

They're usually on ebay, around £30 all in at the moment but it depends on the type of mount (I'm stuck with one flat rate on ebay, regardless of the type of mount). Will be getting a website up in the next few months but until then, if you want any specific info. drop me a PM on here.

The last three pictures above are mine of my bike !!

I would like to say that Andy's mounts are worth it. He had to make a couple of extra bits to get it looking like that, but did it without a fuss and was very quick as well.

Works very well and will probably outlast the bike.

Regards

Keith

I paid £25 for mine and that includes postage and any modifications.

I'm very impressed with the speed of service, especially considering that Andy makes them to order. I ordered and paid for my mount on a Tuesday and the item arrived in the post on Thursday.

Ordered 2 of the 17mm balls from him yesterday at around midday, I got an email from Andrew half an hour later to say he had the order and would get them in the post straight away. They arrived this morning, RESULT.

Just to say a quick thanks to Andrew for the superb service. The i3 is now mounted on my ZX6R :D

The Ram mount looks big and clumsy, I'll stick to Andy's balls. Rolling Eyes

Used a plastic ball to mount an i3 on my K1100LT - excellent.

Bah - typical, you find a good thing then every two-bit fly by night company get in on it Wink

I'm interested in hearing from anyone who gets one of these. Looking at the handlebar mount (if I read their site right) four bits are needed, coming to $44US or about £24, before any shipping is added, so about the same price for a less pretty (I think - but then I'm biased) mount.

Also they haven't got anything beyond the switchgear mount and a handlebar mount for renthal style bars, so they're missing out on a lot of the sportsbikes. Ooops - shouldn't be mentioning that...

I fitted the clipon I3 mount to my 99 Hayabusa tonight.
It mounted on the upper bolt of the clutch master cylinder(I had to put a loger bolt in). It feels really secure and looks good too.Cheers Mr.Gonzales.

Wish my speedo said 220 mph.

My greatest fear is the I3 popping of the mount as I have an unfaired 1200 bandit, any body heard of this happening or am I worrying to much.
