Hi, anybody help with a prob just got my i3 put v3 s/ware on it and poi's
then put speed cams on and my poi's were very limited, my nearest macy d's was 259 mls away ! burger was cold when I got home !!! So I reloaded the poi's n' s/cams disappeared ,so I reloaded s/cams their more impotant than the poi's . Is it me, or is there not enough space on the t/flash card?, if I get a 512 card will it all fit or do I get another 256 and put maps n poi,s on it and swap when I want a macy d !! I travel all over the place so need all the speed cams and poi's not just the ones in my local area . also where can I get maps for europe as I am doin a few international rallies ie greece germany etc and need the main rd mappin for gettin to the major cities

I'l stop askin now as youve prob fell asleep readin this
any help would be appreciated NORM

Welcome to the forum, the Garmin unit uploads the POI's in a single hit, so you need to make sure ALL the files (poi's) you require are in a single folder on the PC before loading them, each time you re-load the POI data it will wipe out the previous data, hence the going around in circles trying to sort this out - it will be ONLY loading the data it is presented with, anything on the device will disapear if you don't re-load it with the revised additions.

Dont bother trying a larger card you will not need it (for the reasons stated above) more so it will not work - Secure (part of the SD name) means just that - you cannot copy the card and use it, the supplied card is plenty ample in capacity to take what you need, the POI files are tiny in terms of file size. Hope this helps - Mike
