Xda exec wont connect to bluetooth

A friend of mine has a Xda exec, with Mobile 2005, TT5 and a Holux bluetooth Gps reciever.

Problem he has is that when he goes into bluetooth manager to select the Holux device icon it has a question mark by the side of it that wont let him double click on it.

The Holux is paired ok and we have tried the same with 2 other Gps recievers, an Emtac trine and a Leadtek, both have the same question mark by the side of them and wont log onto a satelite.

If he tries to log onto another Pda, or phone there is no question mark and therefore no problems.

Any help and advice before he sends the Xda back to the shop.

in the blue tooth manager got to comports and set an out going comport for the gps receiver usually com0
