Hi im new to this 'satnav' stuff, so please bear with me!!!
Is there anywhere I can download European Map Info for my Medion MDPNA175, quickly? As a European Delivery driver I need to have this information as quickly as poss!!
Now I dont always have access to my PC, coz of work, so you can either email info to me at micky1stop@blueyonder.co.uk or txt/phn me on +44(0)7941888270 anytime, aswell as putting it on here!
All help is greatly appreciated and many thanx to you all.

hi,im a new member and think site is great... just wondered if anyone could help?.... ive installed poi warner and all the cams etc works fine but when i switch it off at the back and switch it back on it reinstalls the original medion software what comes with the card and wipes off all the cams etc and poi warner.. anyone got any ideas please? thanks
That's just how it works on Medion units - I have had a PNA200 and now have a PNA250 - it autoruns and unzips the original installation off the memory card, just as if you'd put a manufacturer's restore CD in your PC.
POI Warner is not part of the mnavdce.cab file on the memory card, so it doesn't get re-installed.
AFAIK, you can only install POI-Warner via active sync.
Just avoid switching the main power off - use the reset button on the unit, which does not destroy the POI-Warner installation.
Depending on model, you may need to unscrew the "handle end" of the stylus and use it's pin to operate the reset button, as sometimes the stylus tip will not reach it.
