Has anyone been successful using CN8 Maps with i3

Has anyone had success dowloading CN8 maps onto an i3 for different countries? I currently have CN5 which has not been too successful, I am thinking of U/G to CN8 but only if it works. Also the only option I seem to have for upgrading to CN8 is to unlock using my SPIII serial number and then add i3 as 2nd unit.

Is this because Garmin want me to buy the extra SD cards at a much bigger cost?

Hi Landyrob, Yes I am using CN v8 maps on my I3 downloaded onto a new card.
I bought city select 6 as part of a kit, then got the free update to CN v8. I had to register the CS software then associate it to the I3 to get the unlock code, then unlock the upgrade to CN 8 (if that makes sense) the unlock they sent me when I registered the I3 did not work.

The only thing I have noticed so far is there is no Post code search option (mabe I'm doing something wrong) as I'm sure it said on the DVD case that it should.

Must get a bigger card though, as UK and northern France just about fills a 256mb card.
