Hi

Can anyone help with a minor problem I have.

My hx4700 had to have some work done on the speaker (it packed in all together) I re-installed TTN5.10 and all works fine with one exception

The only problem is that I now need to swith on the BlueTooth software on the hx4700 manualy before I run TTN5.10 otherwise it does not detect the gps signal.

TTN5 used to automaticaly swith on the BT software, when TTN5 was selected, then swith it off again when you exited TomTom, now it does neither.

Can anyone advise me on how to get TTN5 to switch on and switch off the BT software automatically like it used to. The gps is a Holux 236

Regards

Have a look at how you have the GPS configured within TomTom, you should first or all connect to the GPS signal via Bluetooth, then configure TomTom and use the "Other Bluetooth" settings. After this it should be OK, but the 4700 does take some time to fire up the Bluetooth when running up TomTom, typicaly it could take 30 seconds or so - Mike

I have an Orange SPV M2000 (aka o2 XDAIIs) and I use a bluetooth receiver and no matter what I do I can't get the PDA/phone to retain the passkey of 000000 and I have to enter it every time. A complete pain! If anyone knows how to set the PDA to retain the passkey PLEASE let me know.
