The cost of the 910 with TMC will be approximately £550, depending on how you look at this, it does seem expensive compared with a laptop which can be purchased for the same price....(15" TFT, 60GB, 512Mb, WiFi, USB etc etc)
Regarless of this I'll be purchasing the 910, when you consider at this time of year I would normally have to purchase a TomTom Upgrade £50, European Map Upgrade £50 ? ? renew my traffic subscription £40, Camera DB Subscription £20 (all prices approx) then the ongoing GPRS costs this is starting to look attractive, especially if I manage to sell my XDA for £400.
As expected there's no news regarding TomTom Navigator V6 Upgrade, is suspect that this product will be dropped ASAP.
My question then.... which supplier has generally been the cheapest TomTom GO supplier, and should I have to worry about buying it from non UK retailers as the 910 covers Europe & USA? Duty free maybe my best bet ?
Should I pre order and take the risk of paying a higher price, or wait to find there's no stock available ? |

I did a currency conversion and the rate I got from 699 euros to British pounds is approx £475. Hopefully the 910 won't cost anymore than that!! |

This is a great question.
The best I have seen is newegg.
Either way, the 910 is going to be hot property when it is released. |

I pre-ordered the 910 from Easydevices.co.uk for £477.04 delivered. The site has received great reviews and is available from the PocketGPSword.com sidebar. They also offer speed camera maps downloads, etc. They responded quickly to my e-mail inquires and were very professional. Had prompt response after the order and can check progress on their site.
Maybe I could save a few £'s by shopping more but I wanted to get on the list ASAP and a high level of service. _________________ Regards,

Does anyone remember a post on the CeBIT blog where they talked with a Teleatlas rep about the text to speech being part of the map? I can't seem to find any mention of it now. _________________ Creator of the Bright & Vivid scheme available through HOME.
