Hi
I Thought they would have to upgrade the 300 500 and 700 after using the 111 star chip set in the One. This little baby can be sited virtually anywhere in the car, under the dash or the seat, Just switch it on, no need to set a route if you are driving familiar territory and the One will alert you at all the camera spots.
Compact enough to carry in the pocket and will last for hours with an external 6volt battery pack. No longer need to plug into car cigar socket. I can't sing its praises anough.
Go out and get one!

I wonder if the delay with the 510, 710 & 910 is to coincide with the release of the next version of maps? _________________ TomTom Go 910 (3) v.6.522 Map Western Europe v.650 with useless TMC receiver

this looks a good unit -- but i still prefer the garmin nuvi as it uses better maps .... why would you want to play your ipod through this unit? Better to play it through your car hifi. |

Better maps is very much a personal opinion. I have a TomTom RIDER that uses Navteq and a GO that uses TeleAtlas. Personally I find the TeleAtlas maps very much better.
The iPOD control on the new GO's allows just that, control of the playlist and iPOD functions on the GO screen with audio through the car hi-fi. _________________ Darren Griffin - Editor |

And the size of the 910 hard drive is really going to be a great feature too. |

Well CeBIT is this week, and there were a lot of TomTom people who were not saying things when asked. But did have a smile on their faces. I can only take this to mean there are more announcements to come... _________________ Mike Barrett

Is the text to speech functionality only available on the 910?
I've read a few short articles on the net that the others have the capability for it? |

One of the Press Images shows a vehicle surround by trees whilst the GO indicates its in Cumberland Gate. This is central London, not many forests there! _________________ Darren Griffin - Editor |

MP3 player, connection to home computer, photo viewer? Isn't this just a bulky version of what PDA's have been able to do for years? _________________ Tom Tom Go 730 |
