I asked this question in the Medion Forum with no luck, so apologies if any of you have read thi sbefore.
Anyone had any success getting this software to run on an Axim X51v under WM5.0, using a Holux GPSlim236.
Having just acquired the X51v as an upgrade, Ithought I'd try and get it running. The software installs, but cannot connect to the connect Com port (7). The GPS and PDA are paired.
Is this a non-starter? Is the software only capable of running on a Medion PDA with the provided GPS?
Thanks in Advance |

Thanks waylander. I'm running the A06 which is the latest for the X51v, but coming to the conclusion that it couldbe a Windows Mobile 5 issue :-(, but many thanks for at least lettingme know that the software will work on a non-medion platform.
My main problem is getting the software to see COM7 (WM5 only allows COM 7 and 8). WM5 has an applet that redirects to COM5 but this doesn't seem to work with the medion :-(.
